NomoK@non offers peer review (double-blind review) upon request. If you would like this, please let us know on the submission form in the field "Comments for editors" and also submit a fully anonymized version of your text. The reference to the peer review will appear on the published article.
Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- The text has not been published so far nor been handed in with another journal (or if so, an explanation is given under “Remarks to the editor”).
- The text file has Microsoft Word, RTF or WordPerfect format.
- Bibliographical references come with their URL as far as that is possible.
- All illustrations, graphics and charts are added to the text at a suitable position within and not at the end of the text.
- The text is in accordance with both the stylistic and the bibliographical specifications given by the guidelines for authors under About us / Submissions.

Publishing agreement
between
the respective author
and
the editor of the web journal "NomoK@non", Prof. Dr. Dr. Burkhard Josef Berkmann
§ 1 Object of agreement
The object of this agreement is the respective article by the corresponding author which is going to be published in the web journal NomoK@non (hereafter called “work”).
§ 2 Rights granted
- With accepting this agreement, the author assures that he /she is the sole owner of all rights to his work. He /she asserts that neither the work’s publication by the editor nor the work’s content violate national or international legal provisions or infringe third-party rights.
- For a period of one year, the author grants the sole, exclusive, limited-in-time right to the editor to make the work available in its electronic form on the internet, to distribute it and to promote it. Any other use of the work during this period of time requires the editor’s permission. Furthermore, the author also grants the not sole, non-exclusive, unlimited-in-time right to the editor to provide the work on the internet beyond a period of one year.
- If images are integrated into the work, the author guarantees that he / she has the rights in their originals and he /she grants these rights to the editor on the conditions described above.
- If no special agreements concerning the layout are taken, the editor has the freedom of design when it comes to the electronically retrievable version of the work, especially concerning possible images integrated into the work by the author and their position.
§ 3 Manuscript
- Solely the author bears scientific responsibility for the content of the contribution. He / she guarantees that the submitted text is original and has not already been published elsewhere. He / she assures to have written it personally and not having used any other than the indicated aids and sources.
- The author submits an electronic manuscript to the editor. File formats accepted therefore are Microsoft Word, RTF or WordPerfect. Admissible file formats for separate images are BMP, GIF, JPEG, PCX, TIFF. However, the editor remains free to convert image formats into a possibly memory saving format if the resulting loss of quality is acceptable.
- The author keeps a backup copy of the manuscript with him/herself.
§ 4 Financing
- The author receives no renumeration, but there are also no publication fees.
- Due to the work’s general accessibility on the internet, the author may make off-prints of it by him/herself.
§ 5 Obligations of the editor
- The editor’s obligations arising from this contract are to publish the work in the web journal NomoK@non and to guarantee, within the general duty of care, that the electronically retrievable version corresponds with the manuscript.
- No guarantees can be deduced from publication as to the work being constantly retrievable. Furthermore, the editor assumes no liability for mistakes in the electronic version if they were not grossly negligent caused by him.
- The editor decides freely which articles are going to be published in the journal and may seek advice in his decision. He can make publication contingent upon corrections, with regard both to content and form.
